Carnival of Shadows is a high energy act taking inspiration from 3rd wave Ska, Punk , Swing and Latin music to create a sound that takes the listener to a macbre Mardi Gras.

Founded in 2011, the Carnival of Shadows has played regionally in the New York and New Jersey areas, opening for acts including The Toasters, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, and Voodoo Glow Skulls.

Incorporating folk and folk punk into the sound, Carnival of Shadows has a wide audience reach, from younger audiences that enjoy the high energy sound to older audiences that have put their days of screeching electric guitar enjoyment behind them.

Due to the arrangement of their ensemble, Carnival of Shadows  is an ideal fit for a wide array of show billings, from traditional punk shows to multi-genre bookings, all the way to acoustic-only performances.

Carnival of Shadows is preparing for aggressive expansion of our radius for booking, with plans to perfrom from Boston to Washington, DC and everywhere in between.
